Front groups are behind all the frenzy out there.
The insurance industry is not your friend. It is out for itself, and really could care less about you. It is expensive. It is discriminatory. If you have it—It will kick you when you are down and out. It will abandon you when you may need it the most. You can go bankrupt and maybe die because your insurance company refuses to cover your illness. Or, you are denied coverage altogether should you apply and have some illness they won't even consider covering.
And, right now you can't do anything about it, and shop around for something else better...because that is all we have offered to us. It sucks. Our system is broken and needs a major overhaul.
But, all those people out there defending that industry are being played as fooled by the front groups who are pretending to care about them. It is a total sham. And, it is being played out in those townhalls by the buffoons who feign outrage in order to keep the status quo for an industry that would kick them to the curb in a minute.
They are suckers for defending an industry whose only interest is making a profit off the lives of its customers. They have no heart or soul, and are scamming Americans to death.

A front group is an organization that purports to represent one agenda while in reality it serves some other party or interest whose sponsorship is hidden or rarely mentioned. The front group is perhaps the most easily recognized use of the third party technique. For example, Rick Berman's Center for Consumer Freedom (CCF) claims that its mission is to defend the rights of consumers to choose to eat, drink and smoke as they please. In reality, CCF is a front group for the tobacco, restaurant and alcoholic beverage industries, which provide all or most of its funding.
